Thank you. I thought your advice was the cure. SWR meter read below 2,but when I disconnected the meter, the radio meter went to the 3+ again and turned on the antenna warning light. So I went to another truck, new antenna lead, different radio, or the same radio-same result-runs the radio swr meter into the 3+ zone. Changed to a 48" antenna and same result.
