I"m partial to the alcohol evaporator. My 1981 Ford has it from the factory. I tried to search the INTERNET for a kit but didn"t find any. Every time the compressor cycles it injects a alcohol mist into the air system. In very cold weather you still can drain the air tanks and get liquid. I think that proves its working? If I didn"t get liquid, the moisture is frozen? I don"t see how a dryer works. To keep moisture out of my shop air I put 60 feet of 1/2" copper tubing in a small barrel with water & antifreeze mix. Then put it in a old refrigerator. Now the moisture trap on the outside of the refrigerator traps the water. Before it went through the trap and condensed in the air hose on the floor.
