If and when I get my '50 Ford F-6 out on the road again, I'll load one of my Farmalls on it and bring it up to the Lynden show, you can look it over. When I brought it home from Monroe, NE of Seattle, I was going down I-405 and my wife clocked me at 55-60 mph, and the hi range of my 2-spd rear wasn't working, so the theory that these older trucks won't keep up on the hiway is not always true. I expect it to be able to make 70 on the level, which is plenty for me. Heck, I don't intend it to be a cross country rig, just wanna get to shows from Lynden to Portland and maybe over to Yakima. Probably won't be able to manage anything over about 30 mph over Snoqualmie Pass, though.
