My neighbor had one, half ton with the hydramatic, there is no park on the quadrant? Had to pull it in reverse after shutdown, then the tranny would lock. They were fairly low production, I'd be checking on the GMC truck sites, collector clubs for more info. Oh yeah, don't try to put on Chevy six parts on this engine, don't believe anything will fit off a 235. John
