Wish I knew where you lived because dad has a truck like that with seat still in it. I wonder how common a spring that is for the other trucks of that era. If it is a common seat, probably just as cheap to find a truck salvage yard nearby and buy the whole shooting match. I also know that the upolstry shop I got a seat redone at refurbished springs for me as part of the charge including welding and all. Might be worth a shot. Otherwise, I know there are lots of those old trucks in junkyards around here.
