the pto will be fine if you keep the transmission the truck has now if not you'll need to replace with a 4 speed truck tranny out of a pickup, the real sticky part on this swap if the front motor mounts, the inline 235 has a front mount, the later 350 has side mounts, youjr options are to build mounts and use the 350's side mount locations or find the early 283 v-8's front mount and bolt it up to the front of the 350, i seem to have a dim memory of a problem with using too long a bolt with these causing innerference with something on these but dont remember if it was with the fuel pump rod or what you might look in so cal pickups web site to se if they have a newer mount made up now for this swap or not they may have a solution
