What is the difference in the heads between a 351m and a 400? I have a 78 Ford F150 4x4 with a 351m. I bought a 400 long block that I want to put in this winter. Are there going to be any problems with this switch over? Is the intake, exhaust manifolds, flywheel and harmonic balancer going to fit off the 351 onto the 400? The 400 has the sump in the pan in the front, my pan has the sump in the pan in the back. Will this just need for me to switch the pick up tube for the oil pump? Any advice would be appreciated before I start this project. Thanks.
