1946 Panel for 4x4 conversion

I just picked up a 46 Panel in really bad condition, meaning it's so bad I should really just go for it and do what I really want to do, which is turn it in to a 4x4 utility truck.
Does anyone out there know what chassis and front ends would be most compatible for the original body? My original frame is rough.
