1955 GMC frame swap

I have a 1955 GMC 1/2 ton and 1976 Big-block Chev 1/2 ton. Has anyone seen or built a 55-59 Chev or GMC with the newer frame and driveline underneath ???

I'm wondering first if its possible and second if there has ever been anything written up on the process.
