350 vavle covers

Posted by Red Rocket on October 28, 2002 at 09:56:27 from (207.230.208.228):

I need to pick up a new set of vavle covers for my '83 350 motor. I was looking at the AC delco or Edelbrock sets. Is there any good reason for keeping the pvc valve? I plan to go with an edelbrock carb and intake in the spring. Can I just eliminate the pvc valve and breather on the other valve?

Should I buy a set that has a location for a breather vent on each side?

I really have no experience in any of these types of things and very little knowledge when it comes to the internals of a motor. Any advice or help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Jeff
