I have a '49 Chevy 1 ton dually and I eventually want to put 4x4 and a diesel engine under it, I think that would be more fun than buying a new one. Anybody have any suggestions on a good engine to try? I also am slowly restoring a '52 Ford truck with 51,000 original miles, it mostly needs paint.
