timing chain replacement

Are there any tricks to replacing a timing chain, and the top and bottom sprockets, on a 1983 F-250 460 V-8 engine? The large sprocket on the cam is stuck on, and when I pull on it, the cam wants to come out with it. Any advise? Thanks.
