The 352 originally came out in the 1958 T-birds,
and was used in various Ford & Mercury full-size
cars up until 1966. It was available in Ford trucks from 1965 thru 1967, and was then replaced
by the 360 for 1968. It is the original block of
the 360-390 engine family, all of which have 352
cast into the block on the right front side.
