A 352, with two barrel or four barrel carb was a strong running engine, not very quirky, they were prone to be thirsty, as gas was only 22cents a gallon when it was built. Only downside I can recall, they usually had some oil leaks, oil pan or valve covers, and the exhaust manifold bolts liked to break, which caused extreme amounts of noise, which meant no way could you sneak home late at night. They were heavy rugged all cast iron engines, and certainly worth keeping. John in Nebraska.
