Dan, It Depends. How much cash, experience, time and tools you have. What you start out with, have seen too many nice old pickups butchered, by guys with little of the above that thought they were building the ultimate street truck. Money comes in too, if you'll need it for work, or drive to work, and if its 32 miles or 3 miles. Will you have to license it for everday or is it going to be a toy. If you start with a shell, then you can follow your heart, and replace anything and everything. Myself, have some of each in the yard, but find I can't drive the pickup with the monster engine to work, as I don't make that much money! John in Nebr.
