and if your heart is set on putting the tank underneath, look under an 80s Ford pickup, the rear tank is between the frame rails in the rear, and once you fabricate mounts to hang it, you'll still have to fabricate line to it, deal with the fuel gauge sending unit, and figure out some way to fill it, meaning punching a hole in the side of your box or in the floor. Sounds like a lot of hassle to move from a safe unit you already got. John in Nebr.
