If you need duals, you need at least a complete 1 ton axle . Better yet, get a bigger truck!! These are built as a package. If you need duals for weight capacity, soon the axle bearings will go south, then the axle housing bends, then drive shaft etc until finally the only thing left original is the radiator cap. A truck is only as strong as its weakest part.
