First be very sure the cab isn't earlier, the 1937 Chevy and gm bodies still had internal wood frames, including the doors. in 1938 they went to all steel bodies/doors. In looking over pics on the net, the 38-39-40 bodies look identical, and possibly thru 46, have to do some careful measuring, the 41 and later bodies had a totally different grille. been checking over at oldchevytruck.com hope this helps.
