Oil Leak--OIL PUMP

[ View Follow Ups ] [ Post Followup ] [ Return to Forum ]

Posted by Ray Norman on December 01, 2002 at 07:09:48 from (12.162.139.183):

I have installed two Meilings oil pumps on my Dodge 440-3 engine. Both pumps leak around the area where the two halves are bolted together ie. two bolts. Could it be the company didn't use the right o-ring seals or machine work is wrong. Anyone had the same problem and there fix to the problem. What about RTV sealant placed between halves. Thanks ahead of time if you can be of help.
