Thanks all, I done the swap on Saturday, $50 distributor with a coil and a cap from the local boneyard, came from a '84 pickup. I used a starter solenoid from a ford pickup as a relay for the power, a little overkill, but I had one on hand. Easy swap and I'll never have to mess with those old points again.
