Chevy trucks bigger than 2ton rating, often had Buick V-8s in them, factory, in the late 50s. GMC trucks bigger than 2ton had Pontiac V-8s. Have a knowledgable old GM guy look it over. Hows the cab, damage?, the floor, glass? Does it roll, tires flat for years? Any box, or fifth wheel? They can be an awfully pretty truck when painted up. John in ne.
