I would say as long as the truck had a manual trans. and good brakes on the trailer you should have no problem. Probably need 4:10 gears with a 351W. I haul a MF1150 with a 3/4 ton Dodge diesel manual trans. and a gooseneck trailer with good brakes and have no problems. Most of the guys that pull tractors here in east central Ohio run either 3/4 tons or 1ton single wheel pick-up pulling that size load or bigger.
