T C, 460 will go in with little problems. Use a 390, 360 Flywheel that has been zero balanced,( same bolt up pattern as 460), May have to use two spacers between belhoushing and motor, for clutch clearence with 400 bellhousing. Can use 360/390 motor mounts turned slanted with a little rat file work on the two mount holes will line up with two of three holes on 460 mounts. I have been there and done that It works real good, lots of goose and grunt out of 460,( works good on Airboat to). email me will help you all I can, also if it is a 4x4 watch oil pan clearence on front diff, sump would need to be in back, instead of front.
