I have a 85 GMC 4x4. Oringinlly when I bought it it was 2 wheel drive whith a bent frame (my brother in law jumped it) and a 305. Ihad a 76 GMC 4x4 the body was rusted out But it had good motor and trans, so I swapped the 85 body onto the 76 pretty straight forward swap. toook about a week working on it after work to get it running. Basically 2or 3 days is allit would of took working on it full time. Put 31 x 10 tires on it.Headers made a difference in the low end. Plus they were new and free. Makes a fairly decent pickup.
