'70 F-100Posted by Mandy on December 16, 2002 at 06:45:31 from (207.193.225.250):
Another question for you guys. On a 1970 F-100 with a 240 I-6 and a three speed on the steering column. I can shift into reverse and first, but when I move into second or third, I get nothing. It feels loose, and doesnt feel stiff, as if something isnt moving correctly. I had someone move the levers under the hood, and it goes into second and third, so I know its the levers, and not the trans. Another note for you guys, brake fluid appears to have been leaking on the steering column for years. I am trying to restore this truck myself, and appreciate any help you guys can give me.
