Nice and unique find. That Chevy chassis is likely a 60, 70 series and driveline parts should be easy to come by. I can"t tell by the pics if that has the old split rims, but 22.5 drop centers are available in that bolt pattern to allow you to run tubeless radials. Please post pictures of your progress, and let us know what drive train that has. If it has air brakes, I"d look at converting to the S cam style vs the wedge type of that vintage.
