Cab interchangesPosted by Gene Davis on March 13, 2002 at 05:19:48 from (216.163.106.1):
I have a '72 chevrolet C-30, 1 ton dump truck, the cab is in pretty sad shape, rusty, beat up and ragged,it was severly abused before I bought it,other wise the running and dump gear are ok. The truck is for work and not show, what I would like to know is what model cab&front fenders, hood assemblies could be used could be used as a replacement with the least modifications needed not too concerned about the model year,as it is for personal use here around the place. Not worried about air conditioning, or a lot luxuries in it Was told by the local body shop guy that it had to be a '71 or 72, is this correct? the '69-72's look very similar with a few cosmetic changes. would appreciate the advice.
