IH 1600 Loadstar

I am thinking about this truck as a tractor hauler.It has a 345 v8 and a 23ft.flatbed.How much weight on the bed can I safely haul?Anything special to look for in these trucks?I realy do not know anything at all about trucks so any help would be apreciated.
