I have an IH Metro 1200 all aluminum box van.It is titled as a 70 but from the parts on it it is between a 65-70.I use the truck heavy for carpentry work.
A problem that I ran into was the dana 60 ate the outer bearing and dammaged the threads on the end of the tube.It had a 6 lug pattern with 17.5 rims.
No one had an axle with this set up so I put a 60 from a one ton dodge under it.this axle has an 8 bolt pattern and 16 inch rims.I do not want to carry 2 spares but have had no luck finding 8 lug rims for 17.5 tires.I was told that they made such a thing but am starting to doubt it.
anyone with any info, parts or suppliers please let me know
