I have a 47 chevy ton truck or maybe heavier that has a dump bed on it & was used in a landscaping business. I am using it for parts on my half ton and 3/4 ton but lots of parts won't be any use to me (like the dump bed and 2 speed axle etc.). This was a 47 but has a 46 body style. I also have a 47 chevy shop manual which has been quite helpful. Have also had to find sources of parts and found that there are all sorts of vendors for parts common to these trucks. Good luck. Let me know if you have a need a part that might be OK used.
