That truck ought to be able to do the job. how heavy is the trailer? Is it a car hauler or an equipment trailer. Does UHaul know you want to pull it with the 1/2 ton? Some rental places wont rent certain trailers and such without having at least a 3/4 ton. Not trying to scare you, as I said I think your truck can handle it, but if you do it, make sure the weight distrabution of the car on the trailer is correct.
