I have a 1970 F-100 with a 240 six. The other day I noticed the power was down, and felt a miss in the engine. Checking it, #1 cylinder is miss firing, and oil is blowing, or spraying, out of the filler cap and the pvc valve. Actually the pvc valve was blown out of its grommet. The next day I checked #1 compression, which I felt was down with my rudimantary test guage. Also, pressure was felt coming out of the dip stick tube. What are your conclusions on this? I have an idea but want more input. Thanks guys.
