I would not use any heater that has an open flame if you are going to mess around with flammable liquids. Flammable liquids give off ignitable vapors at normal room temperatures. These vapors are heavier than air and will travel across the floor to the ignition source.
I've seen the after effects and if you are lucky, it'll only cost you the building, if you are not lucky, it will kill you.
I have propane heaters in my shop and I shut them down when I work with flammable liquids. It gets cold, but it's better than the alternative.
Don't take chances with flammable liquids.
