In the '40's my father had a Ford, in the '50's he had a Ford, than an IHC in the '60's. In the next 3 decades I was a Ford man until I seen the EFI system Ford came out with in 1986. Compared to the GM it looked too archaic. When I needed a newer truck last year I went for the GM, not that there was anything wrong with the Ford EFI but that big octopus lying across the engine turned me off. My '93 GM still lets me see the engine, the EFI is neatly designed, just my thoughts.
