460 Ford questionPosted by FarmForward on February 12, 2003 at 19:39:26 from (65.248.193.56): I am thinking of buying a 1988 Ford F250 4x4 SuperCab that has 135,000 miles. It has a 460 V8 and 5 spd. manual transmission. I'd be using this truck for some towing (farm wagons, etc.) and hauling, but most of the time it would just be used for hauling me around. I realize that cubic inches makes mileage suffer, but am wondering if it would break me up to drive the thing 25 miles or so per day. Also, can anyone tell me about the power and reliability of the 460? I've never owned a vehicle that had one, and would appreciate any help or comments regarding them. Thanks in advance. FarmForward
