'78 K2500 w saddle tanks

I have a '78 GMC 3/4 ton 4X4 with saddle tanks. The supports for the tanks are rusting out. Rather that replace them, I would like to mount a tank inside the frame. Is there a retrofit for a tank mounted inside the frame, or is there some other way to do this? I don't want to end up cooked.
