1954 Chev 1/2 ton I need information

How long was this model made? Someone told me it was only made a few months. Is that correct? Where can I get body parts? What would it be worth if I decide to sell it??? Wind shield is cracked/floor boards rusted/a little rust on the front fenders /grille has small dent. Are there places to purchase these parts?
