Gas tank leaking.....Help!

My 1986 Ford F150 started leaking gas. It appears to be leaking along the seam between top and bottom halves. Is there any way to repair this or should I be looking for a new tank? If I should go shopping for new, anybody have suggestions as to where? How much might a new tank cost? Thanks for any advice - I'll be walking till I get this fixed.
