Not an old truck, but how can I keep it from rusting???Posted by FM on February 25, 2003 at 18:09:49 from (64.186.199.30): I live here in NC Ohio, deep in salt country. We just bought a new F-150. Any ideas on how to keep it from rusting out are appreciated. I would like this thing to still look good in 20 years. Someone said to take the bedliner paint and paint the backside of all the sheetmetal, the bottom of the cab, etc. Any ideas on if that would work? Like I said, I want this thing to be rust free in 20 years. Also, please don't tell me to park it or move south in the winter--I bought this thing to drive(can't afford the payments and putting gas in my old beast). Mike
