I used to salvage scrapped electrical Parts off of International trucks that were wrecked.
Relay Panels Switches and switch Panels as well as Grounding JCN. really came in handy.
I managed a new roof cap Harness on a Genesis School bus when I replaced it with one spece'd for a 16 light Monitor.
Forty feet of Harness all colored and Numbered.
14 AWG & 12 AWG. Used that to wire the 12volt converter and Furnace in my Little Camper.

I probably won't need to by wire in my lifetime.
