'62 Ford 4x4

I have a real junk 1962 3/4 ton 4x4 with good running gear and would like to put it under my 66 3/4 ton 2wd. I think everything will bolt in there, but there is no steering box on the '62 and I dont think the 66 steering box will work. will any other steering box work out of a newer truck? any help or tips appreciated.
