francis,what you really have there is a truck with no title & a title for a truck you don't have.if it was so easy to get it changed the seller would probably have done it hisself.have the vin ran to make sure it is not stolen(important)...the DMV will not change title to match...see if you can get your money back(not likely).or see if seller will straighten it out(also not likely)...it is illegal to sell vehicles with incorrect titles...might be able to go through a licensed rebuilder...may have to hire a lawyer(ouch!)& sic em on seller...good luck.may cost you some money(probably)...
