I started the engine today!Posted by Willy-N on March 22, 2003 at 16:43:54 from (216.64.163.142):
Well I got the oil primed by cranking it over with the starter and the plugs removed. It held 30 PSI on the gauge with the starter. I put a little fuel down the carb and she fired right off for the first time ever on this engine. Now I know I have the timing close, oil presure and spark. I will mount the tempory radiator and put some fuel in the tank tomorrow and run it for a while. Mark H.
