My '48 Ford F-6, which is considered a 2-ton, but conventional cab, weighs around 7500 with a 17 ft flatbed. I figured the bed was around 1600 lb, so the truck without it would be around 6000 lb. This might be a closer guess than markct, since it's closer to the same age.
