I know about those rust problems! I was lucky with my 48 Power Wagon Frame it was not rusted out. I now have it sand blasted and rubber coated. I guess you could make a frame and maybe a body shop might have the specs on the frame not as good as Fords. Not sure they would give you there plans for the frame tho. Going the extra mile being retired is something I am doing so I understand where you are coming from. Good Luck, Mark H.
