I bet they are already selling electronic kits for the A somewhere. Are you getting any Model A magazines? I think "The Restorer" was one put out by the Model A Ford Club of America. I'd be willing to bet somebody has an ad in the back with a conversion.
The main concern is going to be attaching the actuating wheel or whatever you call it to the distributor shaft. Most kits are designed to press over a standard 4, 6, or 8 lobe points cam. The rest is simply a pickup you attach to the points plate and set so the wheel rides in a slot in the pickup. If you have already done the pertronix, you will know what I'm talking about. Manual advance shouldn't affect it as the wires that will go to the coil and power can flex enough to take that movement up. The kits I've seen are made for 12V Neg ground. That might present a problem if you haven't converted over yet.
