Here in Nebraska we've had plenty of hail over the years, we've found that vehicles with darker colored paint, when left sit in the sun, some of the dents actually do shrink, as the metal tries to return to its original shape. We've also dropped ice cubes, regular ice, into the dimples on real hot days, have seen some, (read some) dents pull back real nice. The paintless dent guys I've watched are darn near wizards, a poor one can wreck even good sheet metal, ask insurance guys who they would recommend. John in Ne.
