What difficulties can I expect-Box exchange

Have an 1981 F150 with a badly rusted box. I found for sale two 87-96 boxes @ 500$ a pce. I think they would bolt on but what about the tailights,tailgate(they are without)gas tank placement. Are the bevel lines the same, they appear to be.BTW its a 2WD. Any thoughts?
