302 carb problem

[ View Follow Ups ] [ Post Followup ] [ Return to Forum ]

Posted by NorthM on April 21, 2003 at 14:44:36 from (204.209.24.2):

I have a 73 Ford moter with a 2 barrel motercraft carb on it and the truck has started to be needed to be primed if it has sat for a day or more. Pumping the pedal will not get it going. I have changed the filter to no avail and wonder if the fuel pump could be the problem. Once it is going it runs fine and starts fine but seems to lack a bit of power when reving it out. Any thoughts. Thanks.
