67 F100 reving up when stoppingPosted by Scott on April 22, 2003 at 09:40:08 from (216.43.77.143): Here's a good one to figure out. I've got a '67 F100 Ford truck, 300 straight 6, 3 on the tree. When I stop, it revs the motor up. When it comes to a complete stop, the motor will idol back down. The forward momentum is what is reving the motor. What in tarnation could this be????????!!!!!! No, the cab mounts are new so that's not it. So are the floor pans and inner fender wells. This is a work in progress, but this reving thing has me fit to be tied.
